Summer Plans? Try out a FREE T-Ball, Softball or Baseball Clinic

CKAA has just announced three FREE Clinics this Summer at Glynlea Park! All of the clinics will offer:

T-Ball coed ages 3-6
Softball for Girls ages 7-14
Baseball for Boys ages 7-14

All clinics will be from 8:30 arrival and begin at 9 a.m.

Concessions will be OPEN, and there will be fun and family games until lunch!

CKAA is excited about this opportunity!

Just In! CKAA to Operate Glynlea Park Recreational Ball in the Fall Season

CKAA is taking over recreational ball operations at Glynlea Park beginning Fall 2026

We are excited to announce that, moving forward this Fall, CKAA (Christ the King Athletic Academy), in partnership with Youth to Champions, will be taking over Southside Baseball Association's recreational baseball program at Glynlea Park!

What does this mean?

The goal is to provide the best recreational experience possible for our youth in the surrounding communities. This will provide a more organized way of doing things, from scheduling, administrative needs, concessions, and field maintenance. We felt that together we could provide better services for our families, community, and for the park property as well.

Our goal is for games and practices to be played at both Glynlea Park and CTK, only a few minutes down the road. CKAA will continue to offer other sport options such as Flag Football and Softball, among other sports, but for the SBA families this will be NEW!

Youth to Champions will still hold permits to the park to help ensure that the property is well taken care of and to ensure its longevity, and going to continue to work with the community and the city to keep Glynlea Park thriving for years to come.

A Local Gem is the Latest CKAA Partner

CKAA is proud to announce that a local gem is the newest partner with CKAA. Conie's Ice Cream is a mom and pop shop located down the road on University Blvd.

CKAA will be selling some Conie's favorites like fresh soft serve ice cream sandwiches and a sampling of their push pops initially at all CKAA concessions. While this is only a small portion of their menu, there will be enough to curb the heat and make gamedays more enjoyable!
