We are excited to announce that, moving forward this Fall, CKAA (Christ the King Athletic Academy), in partnership with Youth to Champions, will be taking over Southside Baseball Association's recreational baseball program at Glynlea Park!
What does this mean?
The goal is to provide the best recreational experience possible for our youth in the surrounding communities. This will provide a more organized way of doing things, from scheduling, administrative needs, concessions, and field maintenance. We felt that together we could provide better services for our families, community, and for the park property as well.
Our goal is for games and practices to be played at both Glynlea Park and CTK, only a few minutes down the road. CKAA will continue to offer other sport options such as Flag Football and Softball, among other sports, but for the SBA families this will be NEW!
Youth to Champions will still hold permits to the park to help ensure that the property is well taken care of and to ensure its longevity, and going to continue to work with the community and the city to keep Glynlea Park thriving for years to come.
